Post Workout Green Smoothie

Hey Girl,

Coming in cold with this post workout green smoothie. Honestly, I took a huge break from having green smoothies after it being a daily thing in my obsessive days of following bloggers who hosted 30 Day Smoothie Challenges lol. These are incredibly amazing for recovery, but come on... every day? No thank you! After taking a long break, these are back into the rotation. 

I usually skip the avocado, but it's essential if you want to add to the creaminess of this smoothie. I just prefer to eat my avocado on toast or in the form of guacamole packs! 

If you're digging the avocado in smoothies head to the frozen section in your grocery store to stock up. They're pre-cut and frozen so you don't have to worry about the avocado being overripe and then the smoothie being gross. 

 

Post Workout Green Smoothie

5 ingredients · 5 minutes · 2 servings

Ingredients:

1/4 cup Protein Powder (vanilla)

2 cups Water (cold)

1/2 Avocado

1 Banana (frozen)

2 cups Baby Spinach

Directions:

1. Add all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Divide into glasses and enjoy!

Notes:

No Spinach: Use kale instead.

No Protein Powder: Add a few spoonfuls of hemp seeds.
