When I first started endurance running I had no idea how important it would be to get nutrient rich foods into my belly. I had dreams of extra pizza nights and burgers with yam fries. While these definitely make there way into my eating regime, I noticed a huuuuuge difference when I began paying attention to nutritional value versus running being a ticket to eat whatever the fuck I want.
I also knew that I needed more substantial meals that aligned with my goals to maintain a strong, healthy body.
